Research internship under the “Bolashak” program
Mereke Alimzhanova successfully completed a research internship under the “Bolashak” program at the University of Valladolid (Spain)
Mereke Alimzhanova, lecturer at the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, successfully completed a research internship at the University of Valladolid (Spain) within the framework of the “Bolashak” international scholarship program from January 10 to October 31, 2025. The internship was conducted at the Institute of Sustainable Processes under the supervision of Dr. Rebeca López Serna, focusing on the development of modern analytical methods and environmental research.
The Department is proud of Mereke Alimzhanova’s achievements and highlights that her research contributes to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly SDG 4 “Quality Education”, SDG 9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”, and SDG 13 “Climate Action”.
