Spiritual continuity: Al-Farabi KazNU students Akhmet Baitursynuly’s legacy

 On 6 November 2025,  within the framework of SDG 6 “Quality Education” the first-year students majoring in Literary Studies at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, together with  the lecturers from the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory: Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assistant Professor L. Mekebaeva and PhD G. Ospanova, visited  Akhmet Baitursynuly’s House Museum   who was an outstanding figure of Kazakh culture, spiritual leader and Teacher of the Nation.

This day was not just an educational excursion for the students, but a spiritual lesson filled with the deep meaning and history of the great enlightener who devoted his life to serving the people and developing national consciousness.

Each exhibit, each photograph and document in the museum brought the pages of history to life, reflecting the unquenchable spirit and selfless work of Akhmet Baitursynuly on the path to enlightenment and freedom for the people. During the tour, the students listened to stories about his life and work with  a great interest  and immersed   in poetry, journalism and memories filled with love for their homeland.

At the end of the event, the participants took a commemorative photo and returned to the university, inspired by the personality of the Teacher of the Nation, filled with a sense of pride and spiritual uplift.

The legacy of Akhmet Baitursynuly is an eternal beacon, lighting the way for the younger generation.
