The Spiritual Levels of a Human Being in Abai’s Philosophy
A student of the Faculty of History, majoring in 6B02205 “History,” became a prize winner at TEDxAbay.
To celebrate the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbaiuly, the School of Social Sciences at the Kazakh-British Technical University organised a TEDxAbay discussion.
Over the course of three weeks, more than 250 students participated in lectures exploring Abai's spiritual legacy and the depth of his worldview. The programme concluded with a creative discussion in the TEDx format on 8 November. Forty-two contestants took part in the competition and, based on the selection results, the thirteen best participants presented their talks in the final round.
Second place was won by Aman Islam, a second-year History student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, for his presentation titled 'The Spiritual Levels of a Human Being in Abai’s Philosophy'.
At the end of the event, the winners were presented with special certificates and commemorative gifts.
