Future financiers at the Central Asia FinTech Summit 2025
2nd- and 4th-year students of the “Finance” program and G.E. Kassenova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of “Finance and Accounting,” participated in the Central Asia FinTech Summit 2025, held on November 13, 2025, at the National Payment Corporation (NPC) under the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This event became a unique opportunity for the students to explore leading trends in financial technologies, communicate with industry experts, and observe how innovations are transforming the banking sector, investment solutions, and payment systems.
Participation in the summit allowed students to immerse themselves in the financial business environment, expand their professional outlook, establish first business contacts, and develop modern financial competencies.
Students noted that such events strengthen the connection between theory and practice, motivate research activities, and help to better understand the dynamics of fintech industry development in Central Asia.
The students’ participation in the summit was organized within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4 – “Quality Education” and SDG 9 – “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.”
