On November 15, 2025, E.E. Khairusheva and E.A. Seitkazy, lecturers from the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, together with the first-year students majoring in Ecology, held an event as part of SDG 13 "Climate Action."
The event featured a series of thematic presentations aimed at raising awareness of current climate challenges.Data was presented on global climate change trends, local environmental risks, and the need to adapt urban systems to new conditions. Particular attention was paid to the connection between climate policy, sustainable development, and the socioeconomic well-being of the population.
Participants exchanged views on all 17 UN goals and proposed methods for engaging the public in climate-focused projects. The organizers noted the high level of participation and expressed confidence that the results obtained will serve as a basis for further advancing SDG 13.
