“Green Campus” Environmental Week Held at KazNU

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized an Environmental Week as part of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and engaging youth in nature protection activities.

As part of the nationwide ecological campaign “Clean Kazakhstan,” a large-scale community cleanup event was conducted. The main goal of the initiative was to foster environmental culture among young people and strengthen their sense of responsibility for the environment.

In support of Sustainable Development Goals No.11 (“Sustainable Cities”) and No.15 (“Life on Land”), on November 15, 2025, first- and second-year students of the “Economics” and “Digital Economics” programs of the Higher School of Economics and Business participated in the cleanup and contributed to improving the campus area.
