The defense of the PhD dissertation by Ibrayeva Gulmira Sayfullaevna, titled «Assessment of the current state of ichthyofauna of the southwestern Karatau macroslope rivers» in the educational program «8D08401 – Fisheries and industrial fishing» will take place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Papanin Institute of Biology of Inland Waters of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Yaroslavl Region, Borok, Russian Federation) and was carried out under the IRN project AP26100721 «Study of taxonomic and Functional diversity Ichthyofauna of Alatau» approved by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
