Round Table Dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science Held

Within the activities of the Council of Young Scientists and in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 5 – Gender Equality), the Department of Health Policy and Organization held a round table entitled “Women in Science and Healthcare: Challenges and Achievements”. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare took part in the event, expressing support for young scientists and emphasizing the significant role and contribution of women to the development of science and healthcare

Master’s and PhD students of the faculty delivered scientific presentations addressing professional development of women in science, existing challenges, and support opportunities for young researchers.

Abashidze Inara Israfilovna – 3rd year PhD student, specialization: Medicine
Kurbanova Muniram Kurbanovna – PhD student, specialization: Nursing
Baikenzheyeva Aiganym – 1st year PhD student, specialization: Medicine

The round table served as an important platform for academic dialogue, exchange of experience, and strengthening scientific collaboration.
