On November 17, in celebration of International Students’ Day, the Department of Pre-University Training organized a leadership lecture entitled “The Essence of Student Life”, delivered by Saken Nurbakekuly, a writer representing the publishing house “Otbasу Khrestomatyasy”.
The event was attended by instructors and students of the Pre-University Training Division. During the lecture, Saken Nurbakekuly presented his book “The Essence of the Profession” and emphasized the importance of developing a systematic approach to choosing a future career, fostering interest in professional specializations, and obtaining a solid and meaningful education.
He highlighted that, in an era of rapid technological advancement, young people should aspire first to personal development, as the growth of one’s personality inevitably enhances professional competence. The speaker elaborated on the significance of choosing a profession, explained the true purpose of professional expertise, and encouraged students to approach any future activity with a high sense of responsibility, passion, and dedication.
Thanks to the lecturer’s insightful presentation, participants recognized that, regardless of specialty, individuals who are not afraid to assume responsibility will be valued in any field, and that the quality of a professional is determined not only by qualifications but also by personal accountability.
