KazNU scientific journals reviewers were awarded

The reviewers of scientific journals of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University indexed in the Scopus database were awarded by the Elsevier International Publishing house.

Elsevier, one of the world's leading scientific publishers, annually recognizes the best reviewers who have made a significant contribution to improving the quality and development of their journals.

In 2025, two KazNU journals indexed in Scopus received a high international rating: Physical Sciences and Technology and the International Journal of Mathematics and Physics. The reviewers of these journals were awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Reviewer".

The Reviewer Recognition Ceremony took place in Astana and became an important event for the scientific community of Kazakhstan.

The reviewers of the journal of Physical Sciences and Technology (Scopus): Gulmira Sharifovna Yar-Mukhamedova, Khabibulla Abdullayevich Abdullin received high awards; the International Journal of Mathematics and Physics (Scopus): Vladimir Dzhunushaliev in the Physics section, and Yerzhan Belyaev in the mathematics section.

This award is an international recognition of the continuous work and high professionalism of reviewers who make a significant contribution to improving the quality of journals indexed in Scopus.
