Students were presented with a show trial

An online event within the framework of the "Law and Order" concept was held at the Faculty of Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where a demonstration trial was organized for students.

The initiative was implemented jointly by the General Transport Prosecutor's Office and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which emphasizes interdepartmental coordination and the importance of practical training for future lawyers.

The students gathered in the modern auditorium of the faculty. A video broadcast was organized during the meeting. The trial itself was devoted to the case of the facts of smuggling and sale of narcotic drugs, considered in the specialized interdistrict court of the city of Karaganda. Full video footage ensured the transparency of the trial, recording every stage: from the oath and the announcement of the composition of the court to hearing the arguments of the parties and making a decision.

Special attention was paid to practical aspects: methods of collecting evidence, principles of their tactical analysis and issues of evidentiary force, including the role of operational investigative actions, examinations and judicial evaluation of documents.

This format not only expanded the horizons of the students' legal culture, but also became a platform for the active development of professional competencies: formulation of problematic issues, critical analysis of evidence, development of public speaking and argumentation skills, the ability to work with legal documents in a dynamic environment.

The students noted the usefulness of practical examples for understanding the functioning mechanisms of the judicial system, the value of interdepartmental interaction and the relevance of theoretical knowledge in real law enforcement conditions.
