Students of the «Business Technologies» Department of HSEB Took Part in the Final of the Competition of the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On November 13, 2025, the final stage of the competition organized by the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at Nazarbayev University (Astana). The event is an annual contest of student projects in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech development, and digital solutions for the financial sector.

The Higher School of Economics and Business was represented by the winners of the university qualifying round — 4th-year students of the specialty 6B11301 “Logistics (by industries)” Alexander Raev and Elina Akhiyeva. They presented their project “FinVest AI”, developed under the scientific supervision of PhD, Senior Lecturer Nazdana James-Uatovna Adilova.

Following the results of the competition, the students received a Certificate for a paid two-month internship at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) from the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The jury highlighted the importance and potential of the project, emphasizing its value for the development of digital financial services and the improvement of financial literacy among the population.

The event contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 “Quality Education” (targets 4.4 and 4.7 on digital competencies and financial literacy), aimed at developing digital skills, enhancing financial literacy, and forming competencies demanded in the economy of the future. The participation of our students in the final stage of the republican competition has become a significant achievement, confirming the relevance of integrating digital solutions into the educational process and the high level of preparation of future specialists.
