The Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics and Technology at KazNU Congratulated Its Anniversary Honorees. SDG 4 and SDG 17

At the regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a ceremonial event was held to honor distinguished faculty members who have made significant contributions to the development of science, education, and the training of young researchers.

According to the faculty’s official nomination, this year’s anniversary honorees include:

• Seil Seytenovich Sautbekov — Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics;

• Natalya Aleksandrovna Burkova — Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics.

In addition, the Council recognized:

• Suyumbika Yakubovna Maksimova — Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics and New Materials Technology, renowned for her long-standing academic service at KazNU.

Members of the Academic Council expressed sincere appreciation to the honorees for their many years of dedicated work, high professionalism, and commitment to the university. They emphasized that the honorees’ contributions directly support the implementation of SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 17 “Partnerships for Sustainable Development”, strengthening the faculty’s academic traditions and fostering the growth of the university’s scholarly community.
