KazNU chess player became the winner at the Asian tournament

Yerlan Tleukhanov, a student of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, took 1st place in the U18 category at the international chess tournament.

One of Asia's largest youth competitions, the Asian Youth Chess Championships 2025, was held in Bangkok and brought together 700 participants from 32 countries. The tournament included rapid, classic and blitz.

KazNU young chess player Yerlan Tleukhanov demonstrated high results and became the winner in his age category.
