The alash honored their distinguished leader

With the organization of Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences N.Zh. Baitenova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor M.R. Baltymova, 1st-year PhD student Zh.A. Baigaraev, and museum researcher A.A. Sarsembekov, a round table entitled “Alashtyng Ardaqty Arys” was held at the Saken Seifullin Zhanaarka District Historical and Local History Museum under the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives of the Ulytau Region. The event was dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh educator, public figure, poet, writer, and prominent publicist Mirzhakyp Dulatuly.

Historians, local historians, museum specialists, school teachers, young scholars, and school students took part in the round table.

The main purpose of the event was to promote and provide a scholarly analysis of the educational, political, and pedagogical legacy of M. Dulatuly, who made a significant contribution to the spiritual renewal of the Kazakh people.

The event was held within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 4 “Quality Education”, aiming to foster historical awareness among learners, encourage deeper engagement with national history, and strengthen the values of quality education.

Such academic and educational meetings create valuable opportunities for the younger generation to gain a deeper understanding of national history and to develop a culture of studying prominent historical figures.
