The alash honored their distinguished leader
A round-table discussion entitled “The Honored Son of Alash” was held at the Saken Seifullin Zhanaarka District Museum of History and Local Lore under the Department of Culture, Language Development, and Archival Affairs of Ulytau Region. The event was dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Mirzhakyp Dulatuly, an eminent Kazakh enlightener, public figure, poet, writer, and outstanding publicist.
The event was organized by Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences N. Zh. Baytenova; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor M. R. Baltymova; first-year doctoral student Zh. A. Baigaraev; and the museum’s research associate A. A. Sarsembekov.
The round-table brought together historians, local historians, museum staff, school teachers, young scholars, and students.
The primary objective of the event was to promote and academically interpret the educational, political, and pedagogical legacy of M. Dulatuly, who made a significant contribution to the spiritual revival of the Kazakh nation.
Such gatherings create valuable opportunities for the younger generation to deepen their knowledge of national history and to cultivate a culture of recognizing and honoring prominent historical figures.
