The international project "Scientists of the Future"
Within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 17 — “Partnerships for the Goals” As part of the international project “Scientists of the Future”, the Faculty of History hosted a lecture by Maksim Sergeevich Mironenko, a specialist from the Educational and Methodological Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University, titled “3D/VR/AI in Historical Research.” During the meeting, the speaker discussed the prospects of integrating digital technologies into the humanities, including the creation of three-dimensional models of architectural complexes, the use of virtual reality for visualizing historical events, and the application of artificial intelligence algorithms for analyzing documents, cartographic materials, and archaeological data. Maksim Mironenko paid special attention to the importance of interdisciplinary and emphasized that mastering digital tools is becoming an essential part of a modern historian’s training. The lecture sparked strong interest among students and was followed by a discussion of potential research projects.
