Representatives of the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Participated in the Opening of the II Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan. SDG 4 and SDG 17

On 11 December 2025, the solemn opening ceremony of the II Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan with international participation was held at the “Gylym Ordasy” building. The Congress was dedicated to the UNESCO theme “Trust, Transformation and the Future: Science We Need for 2050.”

Representatives of the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the opening ceremony of the Congress. Within the framework of the Congress program, faculty representatives also participated in official events, including the gala dinner organized for participants and invited guests.

The participation of academic staff and young scientists of the Faculty of Physics and Technology in the Congress contributed to the achievement of the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

• SDG 4 – Quality Education, through the development of professional and research competencies and active engagement in the contemporary scientific agenda;

• SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening inter-university and international scientific cooperation.
