KazNU's achievements were presented in Dubai

The international scientific forum "Economic Partnership between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates: Strategies for sustainable development in the context of digitalization and artificial intelligence" was held in Dubai.

The event was organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in cooperation with the Higher School of Economics and Business and Murdoch University with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai.

The forum was attended by representatives of the academic community, government agencies and the business sector of Kazakhstan and the UAE. The forum discussed current challenges and prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of science, education and economics.

Almaz Tasbolat, the Chief Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai, addressed the participants of the forum with a welcoming speech. He stressed that international scientific dialogues play an important role in strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the UAE, as well as contribute to the sustainable formation of scientific and expert interaction.

In his online speech, Margulan Ibraimov, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, noted that the university consistently develops international academic cooperation and focuses on integrating scientific research into the global scientific space. He stressed that modern challenges require combining the efforts of universities, business and the state, and the Dubai Forum has become an important platform for forming joint research projects and strengthening the international reputation of Kazakhstani universities.

Academic President of Murdoch University Dubai, Professor Michael Gallimore, expressed interest in expanding partnership with Kazakhstani universities and noted the high scientific potential of KazNU. According to him, cooperation in the field of sustainable development, digital technologies and artificial intelligence corresponds to the global priorities of modern higher education.

During the expert discussion, the manager of the Halyk Foundation, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Nariman Abilshaikov made a presentation "Halyk Ormans: digital eco-strategy in Kazakhstan, sustainable development and the era of international partnership", emphasizing the importance of digital eco-strategies and sustainable financial initiatives for the long-term development of the country.

Zhanna Ermekova, Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU, made a presentation on "The Digital Future of Kazakhstan: Sustainable development and global cooperation", in which she focused on the need to integrate artificial intelligence into public and corporate governance.

During the forum, representatives of KazNU, Murdoch University, Q University and other universities noted that the digital transformation of the economy requires an integrated scientific approach and training of a new generation of specialists.

Following the results of the forum, the participants emphasized that the expansion of joint scientific research, the development of academic mobility and the systematic exchange of experience between Kazakhstan and the UAE will contribute to the formation of sustainable economic models and increase the international competitiveness of Kazakh science and higher education.
