On December 11, 2025, within the framework of SDG 4 Quality Education, the academic staff of the Urgut branch of Sharof Rashidov Samarkand State University delivered the lectures for the students and the doctoral students of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.The lectures were delivered for the second-year doctoral students majoring in 8D02208 - Turkology and the third-year undergraduate students majoring in 6B02209 - Turkology from the Department of Turkic Studies and Theory of Language .
Associate Professor Akbar Asrarov Abilkhujayevich delivered a lecture on the topic: “Abai and Uzbek Literary Heritage, the Works by Olzhas Suleimenov, and Contemporary Kazakh Poetry”. Associate Professor Begali Mardiev Khudoykul presented a lecture on the topic: “A Comparative Study of Al-Farabi’s Legacy Based on Uzbek and Kazakh Literature”, while Associate Professor Ulugbek Kushkarovich Sanakulov spoke about “The Formation of Oratory and Speech Culture among the Uzbek and Kazakh Peoples”. The lectures were followed by an interactive question-and-answer session with students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the visiting professors donated their scholarly books to the department. The event ended with creative performances by students and doctoral candidates.
