Open Advisory Session: “My Independent Homeland — Kazakhstan”
On December 8, 2025, an open advisory session was held for students of the 6B0419 – “Digital Economy program at the Department of Economics, Higher School of Economics and Business, Al-Farabi KazNU. The session was organized in accordance with the UN SDGs No. 4 “Quality Education” and No. 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” and aimed at broadening students’ horizons, enhancing civic responsibility, and fostering a conscious attitude towards the sustainable development of the country. The purpose of the open advisory session was to acquaint students with historically significant events and facts on Kazakhstan’s path to independence, as well as to emphasize the value of independence for the current generation. During the session, key data related to the period of Kazakhstan’s independence were reviewed, important historical stages were discussed, and students shared their opinions and perspectives. In conclusion, it was noted that independence holds great significance for every citizen of Kazakhstan. The open advisory session was informative and carried both educational and developmental value.
