Quality Education: ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. (Curatorial mentoring hour)

On December 17, 2025, a curatorial mentoring hour was organized and conducted by the advisors of the Department of World History, Historiography, and Source Studies — G.E. Sabdenova, B.S. Asanova, P.N. Nuskabay, and R.E. Nurbatyrova. The event was dedicated to explaining and discussing the rules for conducting the “Final Examination” within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 “Quality Education.”

On November 14, 2006, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an important political document for the country was adopted — the Concept for the Transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Sustainable Development for the period 2007–2024.

The adopted Concept is implemented across several key areas, including poverty eradication, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work, and economic growth.

The purpose of the event was to present the formation and directions of the Sustainable Development Goals in Kazakhstan and to explain and discuss the rules of the “Final Examination” within the framework of quality education.

During the curatorial mentoring hour, faculty members B.S. Asanova and R.E. Nurbatyrova provided a detailed overview of the history of formation and development of the Sustainable Development Goals, their main directions, and explained the rules and requirements for conducting the final examination.

Throughout the session, the faculty members answered students’ questions, shared their views, and provided clarifications.
