KazNU named after Al-Farabi held an event organized by Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences Bolat Saylan within the framework of the program "Sustainable Development Goals" - "Quality Education" for students of secondary school No. 213 of the Alatau district of Almaty. Lecture on the topic: "Independence is the most expensive."

Speaking professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences Bolat Saylan noted that 1991 is the first year when our country entered the world called Kazakhstan. 34 years have passed since that moment, and Kazakhstan has a proud authority on the world stage. In such a short time, the young state has achieved many economic, political and social successes. Our economic ties are developing. The wealth of the Kazakh land, rich natural resources are the basis of the country's social development. All these are victories and successes achieved during the years of stable independence. Independence is the holiest day for all of us. This will be the most important and valuable holiday for our state and people. During this time, an independent country entered the path of sustainable development, reached high heights, shared its opinion on the role of youth in the formation of patriotic qualities.
