Rinat Serikuly Zhumataev delivered a lecture at NIS Almaty-Medeu

As part of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 17 "Partnerships for the Goals," On October 3, 2025, at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School Almaty-Medeu branch, archaeologist, PhD holder, and Head of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology, and Museology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Rinat Serikuly Zhumataev, delivered a lecture for students and teachers.

During the event, Rinat Serikuly spoke in detail about modern directions in archaeological science, the importance of archaeological research in Kazakhstan, and issues related to the preservation of cultural heritage. Participants of the lecture gained new insights into methods of studying ancient artifacts and ways of transmitting historical and cultural heritage to future generations.

The purpose of the meeting was to foster historical awareness among young people, increase interest in archaeology, and promote scientific collaboration. NIS students and teachers actively asked questions and engaged in a lively discussion with the lecturer.
