Communication with Seoul Cyber University has been established

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received Vice-rector for International Relations of Seoul Cyber University Ho Myung and Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Chong Sangwon.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two universities.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted that KazNU is open to international partnership and noted that establishing ties with Seoul Cyber University will contribute to improving the educational and scientific potential of the university. The Rector also stressed the importance of modern online education systems and noted the value of Korean experience in this field.

At the end of his speech, Zhanseit Tuimebayev proposed opening a joint research center for cybersecurity on the basis of KazNU.

In turn, Ho Myung and Jong Sangwon informed about the achievements of Seoul Cyber University in the field of education and expressed their readiness to implement joint projects with KazNU. The Vice-rectors noted the possibility of exchanging students and teachers, developing joint courses and certification programs.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further sign a memorandum of mutual cooperation and establish a working group on specific areas.
