A poetry contest on the topic: “My Kazakhstan”

From December 8 to December 14, within the framework of implementing the Sustainable Development Goal “Quality Education,” events dedicated to Republic Day were held. First-year students majoring in Geography and Hydrology took part in the events.

A poetry contest on yhe topic:  “My Kazakhstan” was organized, during which students recited poems about their Motherland and spoke about their small homeland—their city or village. Since the groups include students from different regions of Kazakhstan, their stories about the location, history, population, landmarks, and development prospects of their native places aroused great interest.

The events were aimed at fostering patriotism among students, instilling pride in their Motherland, developing interest in artistic expression, enhancing the ability to appreciate the beauty and expressiveness of poetic language, and building public speaking skills.

At the end of the events, all participants received “sweet” prizes.

When conducting the events, their wide participation and value-oriented focus should be noted. Posters and placards were prepared for decoration.
