On December 8, 2025, the acting professor of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds and Polymers A.K. Toktabaeva, together with the students of the 404th group of the Kazakh department of the educational program “6B07201 – Pharmaceutical Production Technology”, held a curatorial hour on the topic “My sovereign country is mine”. The purpose of the event was to increase students’ love for the homeland, explain the historical significance of national independence, and form the civic position of the younger generation. During the lesson, students were shown a presentation on the historical stages of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s path to independence, and video clips were shown. Students participated in a small discussion, shared their thoughts on the meaning of independence for them, and read their reports. At the end of the event, the participants concluded on the need to respect the idea of Independence, know history, and contribute to the development of the country. The curatorial hour was held at a high level in accordance with the plan, and the students’ activity and interest were noticeable. The event was organized within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the field of quality education (44.3.4 Educational activities outside the university complex).
