Career guidance meeting with schoolchildren

         On January 15, 2026, the teaching staff of the Department of History of Kazakhstan at the Faculty of History – Deputy Head of the Department for Academic and Education Affairs, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Assistant professor E.N. Noyanov; Candidate of historical Sciences, Assistant Professor T.A. Nurpeis; PhD, Acting Associate professor A.O. Koshymova, Senior Lecturer G.I. Mensitova, Senior Lecturer Bizhanova M.T. – held a career guidance meeting with students and teachers of the Almalybak Secondary School-Gymnasium, located in the village of Almalibak (KIZ).

         During the meeting, students were provided with comprehensive information on choosing a future profession, admission to higher educations, preparation for the Unified National Testing (UNT), current social developmetns, and opportunities to broaden their educational perspectives. Graduating students received detailed answers to their questions and valuable guidance for making informed career decisions.

         In addition, the school administration and teaching staff proposed establishing cooperation with higher education institutions, involving students in research activities, and implementing joint creative projects. Particular interest was expressed in the activities of the Republican Research Center “Study of Traditional Civilizations of Central Asia” established at the Faculty of History, as well as the “Winter School” program launched this year, which was positively assessed as an effective platform for professional development. Prospects for future collaboration were also discussed.

         Recognizing the ongoing relevance of such career guidance initiatives, confidence was expressed that systematic efforts to strengthen cooperation between educational institute will continue in the future.
