Computer Science Department programs among national leaders in the 2026 Atameken ranking
The “Computer Science” educational program, delivered by the Computer Science Department, has been ranked 1st in the 2026 national ranking of university educational programs in Kazakhstan, prepared by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken.” In this ranking category, nine universities across Kazakhstan participated, and our program achieved the top position based on the assessment results.
It is also important to highlight the strong positive trend in the program’s performance over recent years:
- 2023 — 3rd place
- 2024 — 6th place
- 2025 — 4th place
- 2026 — 1st place
This result confirms continuous improvement in training quality, the relevance of the curriculum, and the competitiveness of our graduates in the labor market.
The “Computer Engineering” educational program also demonstrated a strong result in the 2026 Atameken ranking, taking 4th place among 44 universities in its category. This is a particularly significant achievement: the program held 22nd place throughout 2023–2025, and in 2026 it made a substantial leap forward, entering the group of national leaders.
The Computer Science Department continues to systematically develop its educational pathways, strengthen practice-oriented training, and expand cooperation with industry partners.
