KazNU is the leader in the Atameken rating

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University continues to strengthen its position in the field of higher education, confirming its status as a leading university in Kazakhstan.

According to the results of the university ranking of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" in 2026, out of 53 submitted educational programs of the university: 11 programs took the first place, 45 programs entered the Top 10 of the best.

This success testifies to the high quality of the educational process, the competitiveness of KazNU graduates in the labor market and the relevance of educational programs that meet international standards and modern requirements.

KazNU trains specialists who are adapted to practical activities and are in demand in various industries. By the end of 2025, the university managed to significantly improve the employment rates of graduates, especially in such educational programs as "Political Science", "Sociology", "Pharmaceutical Production Technology", "Ecology", "Public Health", "Chemistry", "Kazakh Philology", "Translation", "Biology", "Marketing", "Computer Engineering", "Management", "Journalism". The employment rate of graduates of these educational programs ranges from 90% to 100%.

KazNU graduates have a high degree of demand and competitiveness in the labor market, as evidenced by a fairly high level of employment. On average, it takes 84 days (2.8 months) to find a job after graduation, while 63% of graduates find a job in the first three months, and 37% find a job within six months of graduation.

The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, has been conducting an independent assessment of educational programs of universities for the eighth year in a row. Universities are evaluated according to 19 key criteria, including: the level of graduate employment, median salary, duration of job search, quality of teaching staff, accreditation and relevance of educational programs.

The high results of al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the 2026 university ranking are the result of systematic work to update educational programs, improve the quality of teaching and create conditions for successful adaptation of graduates to the requirements of the labor market.
