New accounting and auditing technologies are considered

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Accounting, Analysis and Audit: New technologies, challenges and development Prospects", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Doctor of Economics, Professor Saria Baymukhanova.

The event was attended by scientists, experts and practitioners in the field of economics, accounting, auditing and finance from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The scientific event was held in online and offline formats.

The conference was opened by Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanna Ermekova, Chairman of the Trade Union committee of employees of al-Farabi Kazakh National University Talgat Mekebayev read out a congratulatory message on behalf of Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev. In his congratulatory address, it was emphasized that Professor Saria Baymukhanova is a recognized scientist who has made a significant contribution to the development of economics and higher education. The Rector expressed gratitude to the hero of the day for his many years of scientific and pedagogical activity and contribution to the development of the university, wishing him good health and further creative success.

During the conference, Professor Saria Baymukhanova was awarded a silver medal for her services to the development of science and education. Well-known scientists and representatives of the professional community of Central Asian and Russian countries made presentations at the conference. The focus was on the issues of digitalization of accounting and auditing, the use of artificial intelligence in the financial sector, the development of ESG reporting, management accounting in the digital economy, the investment attractiveness of companies and sustainable socio-economic development.

The conference participants noted that the scientific legacy of Professor Saria Baymukhanova continues to have a significant impact on the development of economics and practice.
