KazNU is improving its digital infrastructure

Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the Management Board and Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University, held a meeting with Li Wenzhong, General Director of the China Mobile representative Office, and Liang Zheng, Director of H3C Kazakhstan.

The parties discussed the digital transformation of the university and the prospects for the implementation of the "Smart Campus" concept. During the conversation, issues of providing the entire campus with high-speed Internet, as well as the creation of a joint scientific laboratory for the purpose of professional training of students in the field of information technology were discussed.

At the meeting, the head of the educational institution, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, acquainted the guests with the current achievements of KazNU in the field of IT, information and digital technologies, emphasizing the university's desire to introduce new technologies and create a digital infrastructure in accordance with modern educational standards.

Representatives of China Mobile and H3C Kazakhstan, in turn, expressed their willingness to support the university's digital initiatives and implement joint projects. This cooperation is aimed at increasing the potential of the university campus and creating a comfortable and modern educational environment for students and teachers.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed on a long-term partnership and the creation of a special working group to develop a roadmap.
