Strengthening Academic Cooperation between the Institute of State History and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

Scholars of the Institute of State History annually present newly published scientific monographs and conference proceedings to higher education institutions.

On January 27 of this year, the Head of the Political Department of the Institute of State History, Doctor of Sociological Sciences V.A. Zheksembekova, met with the faculty members of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and introduced the scientific works published by the Institute.

During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor B.B. Meirbayev, expressed his readiness to deepen mutual cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor V.A. Zheksembekova donated the book “The Kazakhstani Model of Democratization of Society” to the Political Science Library of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies of the University.

It should be noted that during the Fifth Meeting of the National Kurultai, the President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, stated:
“The main task is to preserve the invaluable national heritage of our people and pass it on to future generations. In this regard, it is worth noting the proposals of some members of the Kurultai to develop such disciplines as philosophy, sociology, and political science, as well as to prepare a multi-volume edition of socio-political thought. In addition, they emphasized that research conducted by scientific institutions should be equally accessible to everyone through an online platform.”
