Partnerships for Sustainable Development
On February 3, 2025, from 16:00 to 16:50, a thematic event titled “Partnerships for Sustainable Development” was held in the dormitory of the Faculty of Philology within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17). SDG 17 focuses on strengthening partnerships among governments, educational institutions, businesses, and civil society to achieve sustainable development goals.
The event was conducted by Gulsima Kurbanbekovna Dairabekova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies, for second-year students of the educational program 6B02304 – “Translation Studies (Western Languages)”. During the session, key aspects of SDG 17, the importance of international cooperation, and the role of languages and intercultural communication in global partnerships were discussed.
The event contributed to raising students’ awareness of sustainable development issues and emphasized the importance of active engagement in international and interdisciplinary partnerships for future professionals.
