Starting from January 19, 2026, fourth-year students of the “Ethnology and Anthropology” academic program at the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology, and Museology are undertaking their professional (museum) internship at the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This initiative is implemented in line with SDG No. 4 — “Quality Education” and aims to enhance students’ professional competencies, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills. During the internship, students gain hands-on experience working with museum collections, participate in exhibition and excursion activities, and acquire expertise in the preservation and promotion of historical and cultural heritage.

Furthermore, the internship is organized under SDG No. 17 — “Partnerships for the Goals,” based on collaboration between the university and the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, thereby strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and cultural organizations.

The professional internship enables students to define their career trajectory in the field of museology and improves their practical training in the study, preservation, and protection of historical and cultural heritage.
