SDG 4,16 As part of the “Law and Order” initiative, a seminar entitled “Students and Legal Responsibility” was held at the Student Residence.
The main purpose of the seminar was to enhance students’ legal literacy, explain their rights and obligations, promote a culture of discipline in dormitory life, and prevent legal violations.
The seminar was attended by Yessengali Turlybekuly Kalshayev, Deputy Director of the Student Campus; Berik Kuanyshbayuly Dikhan, Chief Specialist of the Student Campus; chief specialists Bakytkul Bakytbekkyzy Satybaldieva, Zhazira Zulkaiyrkyzy Tursynbay, Ainur Abdullakyzy Abdykarim, as well as dormitory commandant Gulshat Islamkhankyzy.
During the seminar, students residing in the dormitory were comprehensively informed about the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students’ rights and responsibilities, requirements related to discipline and cleanliness, maintaining public order, and preventing legal offenses. Issues of safety and responsibility were also discussed.
The event was held in an open discussion format, allowing students to freely express their opinions and ask questions of interest. This undoubtedly contributes to increasing legal awareness and fostering an active civic stance among students.
