“Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism.”

On February 10, 2026, a curatorial hour was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University,
Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology,
Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience,
on the topic:“Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism.”

During the curatorial hour, key issues related to preventing the spread of extremist and terrorist ideologies were discussed, including the development of critical thinking, legal awareness, and personal responsibility for maintaining public security and interfaith harmony.

The event aimed to raise students’ awareness, promote tolerance, and strengthen the values of civil society.
