As you know, the 95th anniversary of the poet Mukagali Makatayev is widely celebrated throughout Kazakhstan. On February 9 of this year, students of the Philological Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Mukagali monument in Almaty and honored the poet's memory. The event was organized by teachers of the Faculty of Philology S. Daribaev, S. Tleubaev, Sh. Shortanbai, E. Karbozov. The main purpose of the event is to popularize the poet's legacy and spiritual values, and to increase the interest of young people in poetry. Near the monument, students read the poet's poems, which evoked deep feelings, touching the hearts of listeners, and relived the author's deep thoughts and trembling emotions. The students laid flowers at the monument to the poet, sang songs based on poems by Makatayev and took photos as a souvenir. For the youth, this meeting was not only a poetry reading, but also an opportunity to find spiritual harmony and express their respect for the national literature. Over time, Mukagali's poetry did not lose its significance, but on the contrary, found a place in the hearts of a new generation.
