At the international round table titled “Digital Economy andInnovative Education”, organized by the Department ofApplied Economics of Azerbaijan State University ofEconomics (UNEC), current issues related to the digitaleconomy and creative industries were discussed. The eventbrought together representatives from more than 10 countries, highlighting the high international level of the discussion.

Within the framework of the round table, Nurgazy Shynggys, Deputy Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business, delivered a presentation entitled “The Role of Digital Technologies in Shaping the Creative Economy”, emphasizing the crucial role of digital technologies in theformation and development of the creative economy in thecontext of global transformations.

In his speech, the presenter stressed that digitalization, artificialintelligence, big data, and platform-based solutions arebecoming key drivers of growth in creative industries, enablingthe emergence of new business models, professions, and formsof employment. Particular attention was paid to theinterconnection between digital technologies, human capital, and innovative entrepreneurship.

The presentation generated strong interest among theinternational audience and made a significant contribution to theexpert discussion on the future of sustainable economicdevelopment, digital transformation, and the creative economy.
