International Cooperation within the Sustainable Development Goals Framework: ERASMUS+ Consortium Meeting Held

The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence organized an online workshop and consortium meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event focused on discussing a prospective project under the Erasmus+ programme.

Representatives of partner higher education institutions and organizations from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, and Germany participated in the meeting. The participants comprehensively discussed the project’s strategic directions, objectives, expected outcomes, and implementation stages.

Particular attention was paid to the internationalization of academic programmes, development of joint educational modules in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, expansion of academic mobility, shared use of digital educational resources, and strengthening of research collaboration.

The participants emphasized the importance of ensuring quality education, reducing the digital divide, and fostering a sustainable and innovative educational environment in line with the SDGs. The project management structure, distribution of responsibilities among partners, as well as funding and monitoring mechanisms were also defined.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly prepare the project proposal, establish working groups, and approve a roadmap for further activities. The implementation of this initiative will contribute to strengthening international partnerships, enhancing the quality of education and research, and reinforcing the university’s position in the global academic community.
