Environmental Clean-Up Event “Clean Yard – Clear Mind”

SDG-7 On February 17, 2026, the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU, Department of Print and Electronic Media, organized an environmental clean-up event titled “Clean Yard – Clear Mind” for second-year students majoring in Media Communications.
The purpose of the event was to promote a culture of cleanliness among students, encourage responsible attitudes toward shared property, and create a comfortable and well-maintained educational environment within the faculty.
During the clean-up, students carried out cleaning activities in the faculty classrooms: the rooms were organized, desks and windows were wiped, bookshelves and technical equipment were cleaned. Common areas were also carefully attended to, and through collective effort, students demonstrated teamwork and responsibility.
The event aimed to foster respect for labor, strengthen collective culture, and develop a caring attitude toward the educational institution. The clean-up was successfully organized thanks to the students’ active participation and cooperation.
