Within SDG 4 “Quality Education”: The University of the Future

On February 18, 2026, an online event titled “Education for All: What Should the University of the Future Look Like?” was held within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) — “Quality Education,” aimed at ensuring inclusive and equitable access to quality education for all.

The discussion brought together first-year students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, PhD, Senior Lecturer of Practical English at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Merkiyev T. A., as well as students of Chongqing Southwest University (PRC) — Bekbolatova Diniar and Aidoskyzy Azhar.

Participants discussed issues of accessibility and inclusiveness in education, digitalization of the learning process, and the development of international academic cooperation as a foundation for shaping the university of the future.
