Abai Kunanbayev – The Spiritual Leader of the Nation: «The Words of Edification» and Their Role in Youth Education

On February 18, 2026, a roundtable discussion was held with third-year students of the 6B04103 – Economics educational program on the topic «Abai Kunanbayev – the Spiritual Leader of the Nation: «The Words of Edification» and Their Importance in Youth Education». The event was conducted in the form of discussion, literary analysis, and group work, aiming to foster students’ spiritual and moral values and to promote Abai’s literary heritage.

As a result, students gained a deeper understanding of the educational significance of «The Words of Edification» and were able to connect their ideas with contemporary life. In addition, the content of the event was aligned with the SDGs, particularly oal 4 – Quality Education, Goal 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17 – Partnerships for the Goals. The principles of pursuit of knowledge, honesty, justice, and responsibility expressed in «The Words of Edification» contribute to shaping conscious individuals and strengthening the socio-spiritual foundations of sustainable development.
