The Faculty of Physics and Technology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an inspiring lecture by Zhandar Zhanabil from the @recycle.birge movement. The event focused on the transition from awareness to action in waste management.
Key Highlights: Marking and Mindset
The lecture covered the intricacies of waste classification, specifically targeting plastic, paper, and glass markings. The core philosophy presented was "Start with Yourself." To bring this idea to life, the university announced the Eco-Challenge: "Proper Waste Sorting is in Our Hands!" (Қоқысты дұрыс бөлу – біздің қолымызда!).
