In the context of digital transformation in education, developing students’ digital and financial literacy is essential.

An advisory hour was conducted with first-year students majoring in Russian Language and Literature on digital and financial literacy in the era of AI.

Students discussed both the benefits and risks of artificial intelligence. Benefits included automation and support in studying, while risks involved misinformation and data security issues.

Special attention was given to online fraud, including phishing and scams. Students emphasized the importance of verifying information and confirming authenticity before transferring money.

Students were divided into two teams to discuss the benefits and risks of AI. Advantages included automation and access to resources, while risks involved reduced independent thinking and digital security concerns.

The event contributed to the development of critical thinking, teamwork skills, and responsible attitudes toward digital technologies.
