«Life Balance: Health as a Strategy for Success»

24 february, 2026

On February 24, 2026, a thematic event was held at Dormitory No. 17 of the Faculty of Philology within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 3 — “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”

Today, the world is experiencing an unprecedented global health crisis that destabilizes the global economy and fundamentally changes the lives of billions of people worldwide.

The curator-advisor of the Faculty of Philology, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies, Ongarbayeva M. S., addressed issues related to the prevention of emotional burnout, the role of support and communication within the student community, and the formation of healthy habits as a foundation of well-being.

In the reading hall, first-year students of the educational programs “6B02305 — Kazakh Philology,” “6B02303 — Foreign Philology (Western Languages),” and “6B02304 — Translation Studies (Western Languages)” discussed the academic and psychological challenges faced by modern youth, the impact of stress on academic performance and emotional well-being, as well as the importance of maintaining a proper sleep schedule and balancing study and rest.

Aghabek G. K., Shakenova F. K., and Aidyn A. prepared a poster and interactive activities. Participants shared personal experiences and practical strategies for restoring energy and maintaining inner balance, and discussed the consequences of unhealthy habits and irregular sleep patterns.
