"Law and the Student: Rights and Order" Legal Lecture

On February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM, an educational meeting titled "Law and the Student: Rights and Order" was held in Room 3-2 of the Faculty of Philology. This event was organized as part of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16, "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions," aimed at developing the legal culture of young people.

    Specially invited staff from the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, named after Makan Esbolatov, delivered an insightful lecture to the students. Invited Guests:

- Teltayev Bekzhan Bekenuly – Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Training, Police Lieutenant Colonel;

- Nurlanuly Yerzhan – Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Training, Police Lieutenant Colonel;

- Asanova Sagira Zhumabekovna – Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Training, Police Lieutenant Colonel;

- Ryustemova Zhanna Alexandrovna – Associate Professor of the Department of Operational-Search Activities, Police Lieutenant Colonel;

- Zapparov Ryskhan Arapkhanovich – Senior Lecturer of the Department of Operational-Search Activities, Police Major.

    In their speeches, the experts elaborated on the issues of crime prevention in modern society. During the lecture, up-to-date information was provided on anti-corruption measures, the prevention of drug distribution, and the dangers of criminal schemes such as "dropping," which are becoming increasingly common among youth.

   To reinforce theoretical knowledge, the guests presented specially prepared videos. Through these visual materials, students were able to see specific examples of the severe consequences resulting from law violations. At the end of the meeting, an interactive Q&A session was organized in a free exchange format. Students asked questions of concern and received necessary answers from law enforcement professionals.
