“National Values and Modern Education: Spiritual Continuity and Professional Development.”

An educational event in the format of a Q&A discussion was held with first-year students majoring in “Applied Kazakh Language” who reside in the dormitory on the topic “National Values and Modern Education: Spiritual Continuity and Professional Development.” The main purpose of the event was to explore the formation of competitive and spiritually enriched professionals by combining national identity with modern thinking. During the meeting, meaningful ideas were shared about the role of national worldview in the upbringing of the younger generation, the status of the mother tongue, and the impact of spiritual values on professional success. It was emphasized that education and upbringing are inseparable concepts, and that professional development is shaped not only by academic knowledge but also by inner culture, responsibility, and moral qualities. Particular attention was given to the importance of maintaining national identity while remaining active in the digital space in the era of globalization. Students were introduced to the concepts of information literacy, media culture, language accuracy, and professional ethics, and it was noted that these competencies play a significant role in their future careers. The educational session was conducted in an open discussion format. Students expressed their views and shared ideas on how to integrate national values with a modern lifestyle. As future professionals, they asked questions about social responsibility, self-development, and the necessity of lifelong learning, which were answered with practical examples. At the end of the event, it was concluded that a well-rounded personality is formed only when spiritual maturity and professional competence develop together. Such educational meetings help strengthen students’ civic position, clarify their professional orientation, and foster a conscious attitude based on national values.
