Innovative Support of KazNU Research Projects: Interactive Whiteboards to Enhance Research Efficiency and Implement SDG 4

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has been actively equipping its research projects with modern tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of scientific work. In recent years, several interactive whiteboards have been acquired, becoming essential instruments for project coordination, data visualization, and effective collaboration.

In the framework of the research project of PhD in Physics, Professor N.A. Beisen (AP23490322) “Investigation of Thermodynamic Properties of Relativistic Compact Objects within Geometrothermodynamics” (2024–2026), an interactive whiteboard was purchased to improve coordination among the research team and streamline result analysis. This equipment allows for faster decision-making and more efficient collaborative work.

Previously, in the project of Professor N.A. Beisen (AP14869876) “Axially-Symmetric Gravitational Configurations” (2022–2025), an interactive whiteboard was used to discuss complex models and visualize results, significantly enhancing data presentation and team interaction.

In 2025, an interactive whiteboard was also purchased for the research project of Doctor of Physics, Professor M.E. Abishev (AP26103097) “Numerical Study of Vacuum Birefringence on Magnetars and Nonlinear Electrodynamics” (2025–2027). The whiteboard helps researchers demonstrate numerical experiment results and facilitates rapid scientific decision-making, especially in discussions of complex models.

These initiatives are directly linked to SDG 4 — Quality Education. Using modern interactive tools not only enhances the efficiency of scientific research but also develops the skills of students and young researchers involved in the projects. It creates an educational environment where future specialists gain experience in advanced technologies, scientific analysis methods, and collaborative research practices.

Integrating new technologies into education and research strengthens KazNU’s position as a leading academic and scientific center. Interactive whiteboards provide access to modern visualization tools, make learning and research more engaging, and encourage innovative thinking. The university continues to support such initiatives, promoting high-quality education and scientific development.
