SDG-4 At the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, students of Group 230 from the Department of Print and Electronic Media held an advisory session (advisor — Associate Professor Rimma Zhaksylykbayeva) where they comprehensively discussed the impact of the book “Businesske Bağyt” by well-known economist Daulet Toleutayuly Mukayev on financial literacy.
The discussion began with an understanding of entrepreneurship as presented in the book. Students also explored possible sources of funding for starting a business and the documentation required to launch one. During the conversation, they noted that the book helps readers discover the key to entrepreneurship, understand how to become successful, analyze the criteria of financial literacy, and learn how to generate income through social media platforms.
During the session, students of Group 203, guided by the economist’s principle “Action brings prosperity!”, concluded that to achieve any significant result, a person must first set ambitious goals and then work diligently toward accomplishing them.
