The role of women in the modernization of society was highly appreciated

A meeting dedicated to International Women's Day on the theme "A woman's happiness is the happiness of the country" was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The solemn event was opened by the dean of the faculty, Zhanna Ermekova, emphasizing the special role of women in modern society. She noted the invaluable contribution of women to the development of the State and their tireless work in strengthening family values.

During the meeting, Saltanat Amirgalieva, an academician of the International Academy of Informatization, made a presentation on the topic "The role of women scientists in modernizing society." According to the speaker, the activity of women in science is the key to the sustainable development of the country. "Modernization of modern society is impossible without the participation of women scientists. They not only develop fundamental and applied research, but also form a culture of responsibility, a humanistic outlook, and interdisciplinary thinking. When a woman fulfills herself in science, the whole society wins",- said the professor.

A specially invited guest, Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gaziza Nurgaliyeva, presented modern methods of attracting young people to reading. She stressed that in the digital age, the value of the book is not lost, but it is necessary to offer it in new formats. "Interactive projects and digital platforms should transform the library from a simple book depository into a real dialogue platform",- she said.

The event was also attended by qualified specialists from the financial and media fields, who shared their experience. Gulnaz Khalitova, Executive Director of Nurbank JSC, spoke about the impact of digital banking on improving the quality of life of the population, and Gulbagysh Bostan, a journalist at Kazakh Radio, focused on the educational and communication significance of radio.

At the end of the evening, the guests exchanged views and expressed their holiday wishes.
